الكلمة الإعرابية أربعة أقسام: مسند، ومسند إليه، وفضلة، وأداة

.وقد سبق شرح المسند والمسند إليه. ويسمى كل منهما عمدة، لأنه ركن الكلام. فلا يُستغنى عنه بحال من الأحوال, ولا تتم الجملة بدونه. ومثالهما: (الصدقُ أمانةٌ)

والمسند إليه لا يكون إلا اسمًا

والمسند يكون اسمًا، مثل نافع من قولك (العلم نافع)واسم فعل، مثل (هيهات المزار) وفعلًا، مثل (جاء الحق وزهق الباطل).
